NDOW FISHING DAY, RYE PATCH RESERVOIR - APRIL 24TH
Attending Ghosts of the Jungle? Even if you are not you should join us for this fishing adventure on Rye patch Reservoir. Both spin and fly fishing options available, all gear (Waders, boots, float tubes, etc) provided in conjunction with the Nevada Department of Wildlife.
GHOSTS OF THE JUNGLE - APRIL 25TH
Ghosts of the Jungle is a Vietnam War–themed tactical shooting event honoring the warriors of MACV-SOG, the USMC, and all Vietnam veterans. Hosted by Task Force Garrison, this immersive experience blends history, marksmanship, and camaraderie through live-fire stages inspired by jungle warfare operations. Competitors will face challenging courses of fire, period weapon displays, and themed awards—including the coveted HATHCOCK/MAWHINNEY Trophy and the infamously fun “Worst Shooter” prize. Step into the wire, pay tribute, and walk among the legends.
KNOTT CREEK RESERVOIR -FLY FISHING EXPEDITION MAY 28-30
Knott Creek is a gem of a fly fishing location. Located high on the boundaries of the Pine Forest Range Wilderness area. Noted as a trophy fishery, we will be chasing down Tiger Trout, Rainbows, and Cutbows. 2 nights, 3 days and fully supported in partnership with the Nevada Department of Wildlife. Get onboard, this is always a great time.

GHOSTS OF THE JUNGLE
An invitational tactical shoot honoring the warriors of Vietnam, living, passed, and MIA.
The year is 1968. The air is thick with mist and memory. Deep in the highlands, the hunter becomes the hunted — and the line between man and myth blurs.
Ghosts of the Jungle is not a match. It’s a living commemoration. 202 Marines are still listed MIA, 6 of which were attached to MACVSOG. Many more from the Army, Navy, and Air Force are still MIA as well. Let's not forget these brave souls!
Hosted at Task Force Garrison’s private range (taskforcegarrison.org/the-range), this invitational event brings together shooters, veterans, and patriots to honor our Vietnam heroes through grit, skill, and fire discipline.
MAIN EVENTS (INVITE ONLY)
THE HATHCOCK/MAWHINNEY CUP – Bolt-gun only sniper challenge. Precision under pressure. Steel and sweat. No excuses.
MACVSOG RT IDAHO COURSE -Shoot & Move Course – CQB gauntlet with era correct suppressed .22s. Fast, violent, and silent. This course included a wire breach and intelligence gathering along with dispatch of targets. Move smart, shoot true, and have your thinking cap on.
DAWN OF TET - This is a no holds barred two gun slug out. You go head to head against an RPK (EXPLOTRAIN MG SIMULATOR) position. Silence the machine gun and save your squad.
STATIC RANGE (INVITE ONLY)
STATIC MACHINE GUN RANGE – Let freedom ring. Belt-fed history for those who just want to make noise. Period correct weapons. Course available to registered shooters and also folks who just want to make steel sing. This is a pay to play course, so bring a lot of pocket change.

WHAT DO I BRING?
REGISTERED SHOOTERS - You only need to bring a bolt gun and bolt gun ammo within the following limitations:
- 50 ROUNDS (*Bring extra if you need to zero)
- GUN MUST BE 16# OR LESS
- MIN CALIBER IS .22 CAL CENTERFIRE
- MAGNUM CALIBERS NOT RECOMMENDED
- SUPPRESSORS ARE GOOD TO GO, NOT MANDATORY THOUGH
- ALL OTHER ITEMS ARE ON GEARLIST PAGE
